YOUTH
ARTS!
The
Helen Day Art Center’s internship program offers practical work experience and
training in the cultural events world.
The
duties of the Youth Arts Intern at Helen Day Art Center are to support
educational and exhibition programming and represent the organization in a
positive and intelligent manner.
Helen
Day Art Center proposes a spring-summer internship. Interns will participate in
weekly meetings to learn about planning processes.
The
responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate
with and support Education Coordinator to produce the following education
outreach efforts and create excellent arts experiences for youth and visitors:
- Summer arts
education classes for youth

Summer arts
intensives for youth
-
HDAC Arts Education
Booth at Taste of Stowe Arts Festival (July 25, 26, 27)

Rafael Cauduro: Sin Fronteras (no borders) summer
exhibition Family Day
Possible
ongoing support during the fall may include compensation.
Job
Specifications
This
is a part-time position on an as-needed basis. The scheduling of Intern’s hours will occur at the mutual
convenience of the Intern and the Executive Director or Education Coordinator,
in response to the requirements of the job.
